Ikelite 200DLM Underwater Housing for Canon EOS R100

This kit provides the basic requirements to take the Canon EOS R100 camera and 18-45mm lens underwater.
The Canon EOS R100 camera was released in 2023 and is the best value compact camera currently on the market. It's ready for any challenge with a 24 megapixel APS-C sensor, Canon autofocus technology, over 400 shots per charge, and an interchangeable 18-45mm zoom lens.
This Kit includes the 200DLM/D Underwater Housing, Dome Port, and Zoom Gear & Anti-Reflection Ring for the 18-45mm kit lens.
This dome port and zoom gear can also be used with the amazing RF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM lens - just add the compatible anti-reflection ring above.

About The Camera

Make sure to capture picture-perfect moments and easily share them with the Canon RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM. This kit features the Canon EOS R100 that boasts of DIGIC 8 image processor and has APS-C size image sensor with approximately effective 24.1MP. It is capable of recording 4K UHD, Full HD, and HD, and it utilises eye detection for human subjects. This camera also features an electronic viewfinder with 0.39-inch screen and 3.0-inch screen It has also an electronic shutter and Movie Digital IS mode. Moreover, it also features Digital Lens Optimiser for lens aberration correction. It has also a built-in flash, as well as built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB connection. It also supports remote control shooting with BR-E1, Camera Connect, EOS Utility, and image.canon. This camera is powered with LP-E17. It measures about 116.3 x 85.5 x 68.8mm and weighs approximately 356g with one SD card and a battery.

Moreover, this kit comes with the Canon RF-S 18-45mm f/4.5 6.3 IS STM lens. This lens features a seven elements in seven groups composition. It has a focal length of 18mm – 45mm and a maximum aperture of f/4.5-6.3. Its aperture diaphragm consists of seven blades. It is also designed with a minimum focusing distance of 20cm at 18mm in AF mode and 15cm at 18mm in MF mode, as well as maximum magnification ratio of 0.16x at 45mm in AF mode and 0.26x at 45mm in MF mode. It has also a 49mm diameter filter size. It also utilises lead-screw type STM focusing drive system for smooth and quiet autofocusing. Moreover, it provides up to image stabilisation of 4.0 stops in lens and up to 6.5 stops coordinated. This lens measures about 44.3mm x 69.0mm and weighs approximately 130 grams.

Pre-Dive Checks

The transparent back of the housing provides a clear view of the camera and O-ring seal. Ikelite’s signature open-groove design suspends the rear O-ring in a natural position, making it easier to maintain and more reliable than a forced channel design. Once the housing is closed, the O-ring forms a solid, waterproof seal.

For added security, the optional Vacuum Kit with 1/2" Valve (#47012) is recommended to pull a vacuum on the housing and check for leaks before entering the water.

Construction

The housing is made from Ikelite’s specially formulated ABS-PC blend, ensuring high durability while remaining significantly lighter than aluminium housings. The light-coloured material helps keep the camera cooler when shooting in warm, sunny environments.

Lens Support

Ikelite lens ports are among the lightest on the market while being strong enough to withstand rough surf. The housing supports a wide range of lenses, with popular zoom lenses and select focus rings engaged using simple gearing, keeping adjustments easily accessible.

Zoom and focus gears vary depending on the lens being used. Lens ports and zoom gears are sold separately. Refer to the appropriate port chart for compatibility information.

Wi-Fi Transfer

The camera's built-in Wi-Fi feature allows photos to be downloaded to another device without removing the camera from the housing. This function is only available above water and within close proximity to the connected device.

Compatibility

Unless otherwise noted, this housing does not support add-on grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD covers, or other accessories.

Differences in lens and control placement prevent other camera models from being used in or adapted to this housing. There are no known alternative models compatible with this housing.
