Hugyfot Flat Port Acrylic – L 70 / D 100
Hugyfot macro ports are CNC machined from polyacetal. They are equipped with the rugged Hugyfot bayonet mount system with fixed stop position to ensure maximum security. Hugyfot macro ports are available in 2 lengths (L70/L90) and come with either a glass or acrylic front element. These macro ports can be combined with a broad range of extension rings to accommodate longer lenses and/or lenses with close up lenses, tele-converters or extension tubes.
The Hugyfot L70 acrylic macro port comes with an acrylic front element made from optical grade acrylic and neoprene cover. The Hugyfot L70 macro port can be used with the shorter macro lenses like the Canon EF-S60mm f2.8. When combined with an extension ring, this port can also be used for the larger macro lenses like the Canon EF 100mm f2.8.
Acrylic front elements have the advantage of having a density factor very similar to water. Minor scratches are less likely to show up on the image and are often easy to repair on site with acrylic repair kits.
Its compact size and weight make it the ideal travel companion when weight and volume restrictions are important.
