Canon EOS R5 200DL Housing | Ikelite Underwater (AU)

A full-featured and durable waterproof housing for the Canon EOS R5 mirrorless digital camera. Suitable for scuba, snorkel, surf, pool, and any application in or around the water. This housing requires the addition of a compatible Ikelite DL Lens Port for waterproof operation. Lens Port not included. Refer to the DL Port Chart for Canon RF Mount.
The 2020 Canon EOS R5 is a highly anticipated camera, featuring a new 45-megapixel CMOS sensor in a weather-sealed body. It supports 8K RAW video and advanced Dual Pixel AF II for tracking both people and animals. Built-in image stabilization can reduce camera shake by up to 8 stops depending on the attached lens.
Canon's RF mount lenses and the EF mount lenses (via adapter) expand the lens choices. Ikelite’s ABS-PC housing blend provides strength and corrosion-free performance in shallow and deep waters (up to 60m/200ft).

Lens Ports

This Ikelite housing features the Dry Lock (DL) port system with an external O-ring for improved visibility and easy attachment. The DL ports are durable and lightweight, suitable for rough surf and deep diving. A variety of zoom and focus gears are available, each tailored to specific lenses. Zoom gears are sold separately. Refer to the DL Port Chart for Canon RF-Mount lenses.

Vacuum System

The housing includes a vacuum valve, allowing you to check for leaks before entering the water (compatible Vacuum Pump with Gauge # 47011 sold separately). Ikelite’s open-groove design makes O-ring inspection easy, ensuring a solid waterproof seal.

TTL Strobe Exposure

For strobe exposure, the manual hotshoe with ICS-5 bulkhead supports Ikelite, SEA&SEA, INON, and other strobes. For automatic TTL exposure, use the DL5 DS Link Canon TTL Converter and CT1 TTL Hotshoe Kit # 46075 with an Ikelite DS strobe. Switch easily between TTL and manual with a push-button on the converter.

Ergonomics

The housing’s large, curved control levers provide easy access to essential controls like the shutter and AF-L button, suitable for super macro and fast-moving subjects. Knobs and push buttons are ergonomically placed and made of hard-anodized aluminium. Controls are clearly laser-engraved.

Compatibility

This housing is compatible only with Canon EOS R5 cameras. It does not support add-ons like battery grips or LCD covers. Differences in lens and control placement prevent other camera models from being used in this housing.
